Several places have organisations called the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC). They are independent bodies dedicated to investigating cases of political corruption.

• An Independent Commission Against Corruption of Hong Kong was set up in 1974 for the "investigation, prevention and education to fight corruption".

• An Independent Commission Against Corruption of New South Wales also exists in Australia, situated at start of George Street in Redfern of Sydney.

• An Commission Against Corruption of Macau (CCAC) was set up in 1999 when Macau returned to the rulership of Mainland China.

• The Korea Independent Commission Against Corruption was set up in 2002 when the new rule for anti-corruption was passed on 2001. (http://www.kicac.go.kr)
