Ika-Roa

In Polynesian mythology, Ika-Roa ("the long fish which gave birth to all the stars") was a goddess of the Milky Way and the mother of all the stars.

Ika-Roa was also called Mangaroa ("river of flour" or "long brook") and Mango-Roa-I-Ata (the latter by the Maori).
