HVDC Rihand-Delhi

The HVDC Rihand-Delhi is a HVDC connection between Rihand and Dadri (near Delhi) in India, taken in service in 1992. The HVDC Rihand-Delhi is a 814 kilometers long bipolar overhead line with a transmission voltage of 500kV and a maximum transmission rate of 1500 megawatts, which were built by ABB.
