HVDC Haenam-Cheju

The HVDC Haenam Cheju' is a 101 kilometers long submarine cable connection between Haenam and the island Cheju in South Korea, which went in service in 1996. The HVDC Haenam-Cheju consists of two monopolar 180kV-lines with a maximum transmission rate of 300 megawatts.
