Guelph-Eramosa, Ontario

Guelph-Eramosa, township in south-central Ontario, in the County of Wellington north of the City of Guelph. The main centre in Guelph-Eramosa is the town of Rockwood.

The township was created in 1999 with the merger of Townships of Guelph, Eramosa, Pilkington and Nichol.

According to the 2001 Statistics Canada Census:

  • Population: 11,174
  • % Change (1996-2001): 9.8
  • Dwellings: 3,775
  • Area (sq. km.): 291.79
  • Density (persons per sq. km.): 38.3
