Great Mosque of Xi'an

Great Mosque, Dàqingzhen Sì, in Xi'an, is one of the largest mosques in China. Current buildings are from the middle of the 18th century but it has been estimated that the location has had mosques on earlier times as well. The building is built along Chinese architectural styles and is surrounded by gardens.

The mosque is actively used. The courtyard is open to the public, but praying areas are for Muslims only.
