Gordon Tullock

Gordon Tullock is a professor of Law and Economics at George Mason University. In 1967 he indentified the phenomenon of rent-seeking. He has since done ground-breaking work on public choice theory. He is especially exceptional considering he has a JD rather than an economics degree.
