Goldie McJohn

Goldie McJohn (born May 2 1945) is a Canadian musician, best known as the keyboard player for the rock group Steppenwolf.

He was born John Goadsby in Toronto in 1945. In 1965, he was a member of the Mynah Birds, which also included Rick James, Bruce Palmer and later Neil Young. He joined The Sparrows which went on to become Steppenwolf, remaining with the group from 1967 to 1974, when he was fired by John Kay.
