Gold Standard Laboratories or GSL is an independent record label which was started in 1993 in Colorado by Sonny Kay . In 2001, it was in San Francisco, California, USA, but it is currently headquartered in Los Angeles, California, USA.

It is co-owned by The Mars Volta's Omar Rodriguez-Lopez.
