George Wolf (12 August 1777 - 11 March 1840) was the governor of Pennsylvania from 1829 to 1835. An attorney by training, Wolf served one year in the state legislature (1814-1815) and was elected to the United States House of Representatives in 1824, to which he was reelected twice. A member of the Jacksonian Democratic Party , Wolf defeated Joseph Ritner in both 1829 and 1832 but lost the governor's seat to the Anti-Mason candidate in 1835.
