George Foulkes (politician)

The Right Honourable George Foulkes (born 21 January 1942) is a politician in the United Kingdom.

Foulkes was Labour and Co-operative member of Parliament for Carrick, Cumnock and Doon Valley . He was first elected in 1979 and stepped down at the 2005 general election. He is a member of the Privy Council and served as a junior minister at the Department for International Development.
