Frank, Alberta

Frank was a mining town in Alberta, Canada, not far from Calgary, east of the Crowsnest Pass. On April 29, 1903 Turtle Mountain collapsed and the town was destroyed by a massive landslide, known as the Frank Slide . At least 76 people were buried alive.
