Forshaga is a Municipality in Värmland County, in west central Sweden. The municipality covers an area of 350.3 km². Of the total population of 11589, 5789 are male, and 5800 are female. The population density of the community is 33 inhabitants per km².
Known for its rich fishing waters which attracts hobby sport fishers from all over the country.
