Flesland Airport

Flesland airport is the airport in Bergen, Norway, located 19 km south of downtown. It was opened in 1955, and built with funds from NATO. It has functioned as a combined civil and military airport since it’s opening in 1955.

Its current terminal was designed by the local architect Halfdan Grieg and was opened in 1988. The same architect also designed the old terminal, which today is used as a terminal for the helicopter traffic to some of Norway’s many oil platforms.

Flesland is served by SAS, Norwegian, Widerøe, KLM, Danish Air Transport and Coast Air . International destinations are London, England, Aberdeen, Scotland, Copenhagen, Denmark and Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The IATA airport code is BGO.

Flesland is owned and operated by Avinor.
