In World War II terms, expulsion was a euphemism for genocide. The Nazis used this term to describe the forced deportation of Jews and other victims to death camps.
In the Book of Genesisexpulsion refers to the decree of expulsion from the Garden of Eden issued by God against Adam and Eve after they ate from the forbidden Tree of Knowledge. However, the expulsion was not the consequence of eating the forbidden fruit. They were expulsed from the Garden of Eden for the reason that, as says the Bible text, "He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live for ever." (Genesis 3:22)
Besides, Man had shown to be an unreliable creature, and they had already got their punishment for eating the forbidden fruit.
In the terms of an university or school, expulsion is defined as removing a student from the institution by violating rules or honor codes.
