Eveleigh is a suburb of the city of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

Eveleigh lies between Darlington and Redfern, effectively blocking passage between the two. The suburb consists entirely of railway yards, now partially disused, and is the subject of development proposals to create new housing - see Redfern-Eveleigh-Darlington.

Eveleigh was named after the estate of Lieutenant J. R. Holden, so called after his birthplace in England.
