Eric Dickerson

Eric Demetric Dickerson (born September 2, 1960 in Sealy, Texas) is a former American football running back and a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams out of SMU with the second overall pick of the 1983 NFL Draft. He spent his career with the Los Angeles Rams (1983-1987), Indianapolis Colts (1987-1991), Los Angeles Raiders (1992) and Atlanta Falcons (1993).

Dickerson led the league in rushing yards four times and is among the league's all-time leaders in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns. In 1986 Dickerson was named NFL Offensive Player of the Year by the Associated Press He had a total of 13,259 yards rushing and 2137 yards receiving. He was named to six Pro Bowls and was All-Pro five times.
