El puente del Papa (the bridge of the Pope) is a bridge in Monterrey, Mexico across the usually dry Río Santa Catarina . It takes its name from Pope John Paul II who visited in 1979 and appeared on the bridge.

A market with the same name is held under the bridge at weekends.
