Egg foo young

Egg foo young, or egg foo yung (Chinese: 芙蓉蛋; Hanyu Pinyin: fu rong dan; meaning "hibiscus egg") is a Chinese omelet commonly served in westernized Chinese restaurants. It is made with various vegetables often used in Westernized Chinese cuisine, such as celery and water chestnuts, and sometimes meat is included as an ingredient.

More authentic varieties of this dish can be found in China and Taiwan.
