Edward Carson (Eddie) Sargent (1917 - January 28 1998) was a Canadian politician.

After serving as mayor of Owen Sound for fifteen years, Sargent was elected to the Ontario legislature in the 1963 Ontario election and remained a Liberal MPP until 1987.

In 1964 Sargent was a candidate in that year's Ontario Liberal leadership convention placing sixth.
