Edward Lauter is an American actor, born on October 30, 1940 in Long Beach,Long Island, New York.He has been in a lot of movies, was a stand up comic before he got into acting.

Ed Lauter's films range from Cujo(1983),Youngblood(1984), Real Genius(1985), Girls Just Want to Have Fun (1985), Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds in Paradise(1987}, Raw Deal(1987), True Romance(1993}, and the most recent film, Purple Heart(2005).
