Dunedoo is a village in Coolah shire in the central northern part of the Australian state of New South Wales. It has about 500 inhabitants. Dunedoo is located on the bank of the Talbragar River and is located where the Golden Highway from Dubbo to Maitland intersects with the Castlereagh Highway from Lithgow to Coonabarabran. Dunedoo has two hotels, a few shops, and a railway with a wheat silo.
The Dunedoo area was first settled in the 1840s and was know as Bolaro and later as Redbank. The first pub there was the Sportsmans Arms established by Thomas New around 1857. The railway was opened in 1911 and Thomas New's granddaughter had the first ticket.
