Ditone

The musical interval of a ditone is literally two tones, whole tones or major seconds, often called a major third. In contrast to a major third, ideally a just 4:5 or 4 equally tempered semitones, however, a ditone is ideally a pythagorean 64:81 = 1.2656 = 1.1252 = 9:82, two 9:8 whole tones.
