Dissident Voice

Dissident Voice is an independent internet newsletter, "dedicated to challenging the distortions and lies of the corporate press and the privileged classes it serves".

It began publishing progressive articles in 2002 under the editorship of Sunil K. Sharma of Santa Rosa, California. It has since developed to become a popular and influential voice for a news perspective outside the commercial media orbit. Dissident Voice sees itself as a reputable source of progressive journalism unafraid to confront the elite establishment on a panoply of issues in the hopes of furthering the struggles for peace and social justice.

Writers include Noam Chomsky, Robert Fisk, Josh Frank, Leilla Matsui, Media Lens, Mickey Z., Kim Petersen, John Pilger, Norman Solomon and Seth Sandronsky.
