Discharge were a famous United Kingdom Anarcho-punk band.
Their heavy guitar-driven sound and anti-melodic screamed vocals earned an early crossover appeal to fans of speed metal. Their songs focused on anarchist and pacifist themes emphasizing the grisly effects of nuclear war and capitalism. The group released several EPs in 1980 (Realities of War, Fight Back, Decontrol), one E.P. in 1981 (Never Again), and an LP in 1982 (Hear Nothing, See Nothing, Say Nothing), among other releases.
