Deidamea

In Greek mythology, Deidamea was the daughter of Lycomedes, King of Scyros. During the Trojan War, Achilles hid in her father's court, disguised as a girl. During this time, she gave birth to Achilles' only son, Neoptolemus.

The last opera of German-British Baroque composer George Frideric Handel is called "Deidamia" (1740) and deals with her fate.
