DeShaun Xavier Foster (born January 10, 1980, in Tustin, California) is an American football player who currently plays running back for the Carolina Panthers of the NFL. Foster was selected by Carolina in the second round (34th overall) of the 2002 NFL Draft out of UCLA.

College Career

    At UCLA,Foster ended his career with 3194 rushing yards, and 44 touchdowns.

As a senior in 2001,he was named second-team all-American bythe sporting news.As a true freshman in 1998,he carried the football 126 times for 673 rushing yards. As a true freshman,he amassed the Sporting News first-team Freshman All-American honors.
