Daysend are a melodic death metal band based in Sydney, Australia. They made their debut in early 2003 and released their debut album Severance later in the year.

The members of the band come from various high calibre bands such as Psi.Kore, Deadspawn, Redsands, Depression, Infernal Method and Automation.

Daysend have earned themselves a reputation of an extremely hard working band, with numerous high profile tours, opening for international metal acts such as Strapping Young Lad and Entombed.
