David C. Jewitt

David C. Jewitt is a Professor of astronomy at the University of Hawaii Institute for Astronomy. He was born in England, and is a 1979 graduate of the University of London. Jewitt received his Ph.D in astronomy at the California Institute of Technology in 1980. His research interests include the trans-Neptunian Solar System , Solar System formation and the physical properties of comets.
