He is currently married to Patricia Morrison. He is famous for bringing the gothic image to the pop culture world due to earing it onstage & off, though does not personally make note of this. Notorious for keeping his personal life out of the limelight, even opting out of any input of The Damned bio-book The Light At The End Of The Tunnel by Carol Clerk . He is known to be vastly interested in renaissance art & film noir, which he speaks of as well as sings of. Living currently on the English coast with wife Patricia Morrison. On February 9, 2004 David Vanian and Patricia Morrison gave birth to Emily Vanian at 8:20pm weighing 8 pounds 4 ounces.
