Dave Gregory

Dave Gregory is also the name of the first Australian cricket captain.

Dave Gregory (born September 21, 1952, in Swindon, Wiltshire, England) was the lead guitarist of the new wave rock/pop group XTC from immediately prior to the recording of the Drums and Wires LP in 1979 to his leaving the band in 1999. He also contributed keyboards and backing vocals.

Since leaving XTC he has worked with a number of artists including Peter Gabriel and Aimee Mann.

He is also a diabetic.
