Danish longball

Danish longball is a racquet-sport founded in Denmark.

Playing

Danish longball is a team game, where 2 teams play against one another. The game consists of two parts, wherein each team takes turns to bat or to field.

Field of play

The batting field has two parts: Inside and outside a square. Fielders can position themsleves inside or outside of the square.

Rules

The bowler throws the ball at the batter, who must hit the ball with his bat. The ball must then land inside the square, but it permitted the bounce or roll out of the square. The batter must then run to the other side of the square to a "safe zone".

A player is out if he is caught by the fielding team, if he hits the ball outside the square, or if the fielders throw the ball and it hits one of the batters.
