Dan "The Beast" Severn is an American wrestler, notable for his sucess in Ultimate Fighting Championship. During his first appearance, in UFC #4, he captured the hearts of many UFC fans by executing an impressive back suplex of Anthony Macias. In the finals of UFC #4, Severn was defeated by Royce Gracie in a triangle choke. Severn captured the championship in UFC#5 over Oleg Taktarov. Severn went on to win Ultimate Ultimate '96, a tournament of UFC champions.
