Dan Blackburn (born May 20, 1983 in Montreal, Quebec) is a Canadian professional hockey goaltender. He currently plays for the New York Rangers. He was drafted by the New York Rangers in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft , First Round, Tenth Overall. Underwent surgery on 3/31 to repair nerve damage in his shoulder, on the IR as of 9/9. Has had a special catcher/blocker made to help him with his damaged catching arm (07/01/05).
