Cucamonga Valley

The Cucamonga Valley is a region between the Los Angeles and San Bernardino areas, in San Bernardino County and Riverside County, of California, USA. It is located east of the Pomona Valley and it is a major site of wine production. It is in the Inland Empire.

People

With some exceptions, white people are no longer form the majority and the population has been declining in most cities in Cucamonga Valley - descendants of original suburban settlers have moved out. White folks are vastly outnumbered by the Hispanics. The African American population is steadily growing as well, mainly in Rialto and adjacent areas - many blacks are from the South Central Los Angeles region. Those of Asian descent are nearly invisible in the region.

Transportation

State highway 91 and 60 are the main highways. Interstate 15 is the main freeway.

Industry

The large Southern California supermarket chain Stater Bros. has its headquarters in the Cucamonga Valley city of Colton.
