Country Life (album)

Country Life was a 1974 album by Roxy Music. Produced in the wake of the departure of Brian Eno it clearly signposted the direction which Bryan Ferry wanted to take the band in now that he had clear artistic control. While admittedly not the greatest Roxy Music album ever produced, it nevertheless has sufficient high-spots for it to sell respectably and to be well-regarded in retrospect, and still, as of 2004, sounds fresh and relatively undated.

The cover of the album, which featured two scantily-clad models, was considered controversial in some countries, such as the United States, where it was censored for release.
