Constance Bay, Ontario is a community of approximately 3,000, situated 20 minutes from Kanata. As of 2005, it is 50% cottage/seasonal housing; 50% year round. It has services of a gas station; a general store and 3 restaurants. It has a waterfront bed & breakfast. During the summer months it is a bustling village offering all the fun in the sun activities - swimming, boating, skiing, canoeing, hiking, horseback riding, biking and ATV off-road running. During the winter months there is ice-fishing, skiidoing, cross-country skiing, skating and horseback riding. At the centre of the community is a fully functional and updated skateboard park along with 2 baseball diamonds (one full illuminated for night play), soccer field, playstructure and consession.
