Cleveland National Forest

The Cleveland National Forest encompasses most of the Santa Ana Mountains of Southern California. It is a national forest administered by the National Forest Service, an agency of the United States national government. It is located in the California counties of Orange, Riverside, and San Diego. Very little of the forest is actually covered in woodland. The forest is bisected by the Ortega Highway, which runs from San Juan Capistrano to Lake Elsinore.
