City Stadium (Green Bay)

City Stadium was a football stadium that formerly stood in Green Bay, Wisconsin. It was the home of the Green Bay Packers of the NFL from 1926-1956. During the period, the Packers usually played a couple of games in Milwaukee, Wisconsin each year. The stadium originally sat 6,000, but was gradually expanded to seat 25,000 by the time it was closed. It was replaced by Lambeau Field for the 1957 season. Green Bay East High School now stands on the site.
