Christopher Robert Evans, (born June 13 1981), is an American actor, born in Sudbury, Massachusetts. He is set to star as the Human Torch in the forthcoming film The Fantastic Four, scheduled for release on July 8 2005.

Evans received his break as an actor in the TV series Opposite Sex , but it was his starring role in the 2001 comedy film Not Another Teen Movie that brought him major attention. After this film he went on to co-star in both The Perfect Score and Cellular.

In 2005 he will star in The Orphan King , as well as the aforementioned Fantastic Four
