Chinook Scenic Byway

Chinook Scenic Byway is an All-American Road in the U.S. state of Washington. It consists of the segment of Washington State Highway 410 through the Cascade Range between Enumclaw and Naches. Also known as Mather Memorial Parkway, Chinook Scenic Byway passes through Mount Rainier National Park, crosses Cayuse Pass at 4,700 feet, and crests at Chinook Pass on the east border of Mount Rainier National Park at 5,432 feet. Because of the avalanche danger, Chinook Scenic Byway is closed in the winter between the Northwest park entrance and 5 miles east of Chinook Pass.
