Starting January 11th, 2005 Chicago Express had plans to serve several cities from Indianapolis, Indiana. Pending a sale of the airline, forced by bankruptcy reorganization of parent ATA Holdings, Chicago Express ceased all operations at the end of March, 2005. The new owner, Okun Enterprises, Inc., of Indianapolis, Indiana expects to begin operations soon, pending government (FAA) approvals.
