Chaos A.D.

Chaos A.D. was a music album released in 1993 by Sepultura through Roadrunner Records.

Though the band had some success, Chaos A.D. was their break through album. Though the band had incorporated a hardcore punk influence into the death and thrash metal-inspired songs of their earlier albums, Chaos A.D. was an almost complete change in sound, to a metal-inspired punk album.

The band also included an acoustic, percussion-lead instrumental "Kaoiwas" on the album. This became a center piece of the band's live show, with the band, as well as guests from other bands they played with, all playing drums.

The album featured a collaboration with Jello Biafra ("Biotech Is Godzilla") and Evan Seinfeld of Biohazard ("Slave New World").
