Carlo Michelstaedter

Carlo Michelstaedter (1887-1910) was a philosopher, poet, and painter, from an Italian speaking part of the Austro-Hungarian empire. He was born to a Jewish family in the city of Gorizia. He commited suicide by shooting himself at the age of twenty-three.
