Bobsled

Bobsled is a winter sport, also known as bobsleigh (the official name used in the Winter Olympic Games), in which teams make timed runs down narrow, twisting, banked purpose-built tracks in a gravity-powered, steerable sled.

Women's bobsled made its Olympic debut at the 2002 Winter Olympic Games.

The story of the Jamaican bobsleigh team in the 1988 Winter Olympic Games inspired the film Cool Runnings.
