Bob Sacamano

Bob Sacamano is a character on the television series Seinfeld. He is never seen in any of the episodes. He is known to frequently give Cosmo Kramer esoteric information and bizarre ideas, such as a bladder for oil tankers to prevent spills.

In "The Chicken Roaster," Jerry and Bob become friends, and at that point we learn Sacamano sold Russian hats in Battery Park. In "The Heart Attack," Kramer says that Sacamano went into the hospital for a hernia operation, and due to malpractice, he now sits by a window saying in a high-pitched voice, "My name is Bob!" Bob is also said to have rabies once and to have stayed with Kramer for a year and a half once after coming over for a visit. When Kramer was running for condo president with Morty, they decided to bribe the voters with Wizard portable "tip calculators". Bob Sacamano's father supplied them with Williard knock-offs.

In one episode of the series, Elaine Benes, George Costanza, and Jerry Seinfeld, as well as Kramer were all invited to a party hosted by Sacamano.

According to series writer Larry David, Bob Sacamano was a real-life friend. Shortly after David introduced the Sacamano character in "The Heart Attack," he and the real Sacamano had a falling out.
