Big Sky Airlines

Big Sky Airlines is an American commercial airline headquartered in Billings, Montana. The airline flies its fleet of ten 19-seat Fairchild Metro aircraft to destinations in the states of Montana, Idaho, Washington, and, as of February 2005, to the city of Portland, Oregon.

In early 2005, Big Sky announced a few changes to its service, planning the termination of service to North Dakota, and replacing its Metro fleet with Beechcraft B1900Ds.

The airline operates a hub of sorts at Billings Logan International Airport, from which it flies more of its non-stop routes than it does from any other airport. The airline is a crucial air link within the state of Montana, serving as the primary (and in some cases, only) commerical air carrier to several small airports in the state.

Its IATA airline designator code is GQ.
