Berthier—Maskinongé is the name of a federal electoral district in Quebec, Canada. Its population is 103,516. (2001)
Geography
The district includes the Regional County Municipalities of D'Autray and
Maskinongé along with the former cities of Pointe-du-Lac and Trois-Rivières-Ouest in the City of Trois-Rivières.
History
The electoral district was created in 2003 44.8% from Trois-Rivières , 36.0% from Berthier—Montcalm , and 19.2% from Saint-Maurice .

The district existed from 1924 to 1952. It was created from Berthier and Maskinongé . The district consisted of the Counties of Berthier and Maskinongé . In 1947, it gained the Township of Gouin . When the district was abolished, it became Berthier—Maskinongé—Delanaudière .

The riding was recreated in 1975 when the name of Berthier was again changed to Berthier-Maskinongé. Liberal Antonio Yanakis was elected its MP in the 1979 Canadian election and re-elected in the 1980 Canadian election after which the name of the district was changed to Berthier—Maskinongé—Lanaudière .
