Bermuda Run is a town located in Davie County, North Carolina. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 1,431.

Geography

Bermuda Run is located at 35°59'55" North, 80°25'53" West (35.998557, -80.431377).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 3.4 km² (1.3 mi²). 3.4 km² (1.3 mi²) of it is land and 0.75% is water.

Demographics

As of the census² of 2000, there are 1,431 people, 734 households, and 497 families residing in the town. The population density is 418.6/km² (1,087.6/mi²). There are 828 housing units at an average density of 242.2/km² (629.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 98.95% White, 0.49% African American, 0.07% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.07% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.42% from two or more races. 1.82% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 734 households out of which 10.5% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 64.4% are married couples living together, 2.7% have a female householder with no husband present, and 32.2% are non-families. 30.1% of all households are made up of individuals and 20.0% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 1.93 and the average family size is 2.32.
