Bensheim

Bensheim is a small city in Hesse, Germany, part of the district Bergstraße. It is located at the edge of the Odenwald while at the same time having an open view over the Rhine plane.

Population 38.976 (2002), geographical location . The Bensheim area also includes its twin community of Auerbach.

Economically it is in an area where wine is grown extensively. Many small businesses in the areas such as electronics, software development or services can be found.

It is also known for its good traffic connections to other nearby cities. Darmstadt, Heidelberg, and Frankfurt are all within an hour's drive. www.bensheim.de
